Sr. On-Prem DevOps Engineer - Where innovation meets impact in FinTech

I have a REMOTE opportunity for a Sr. On-Prem DevOps Engineer in Dallas, TX to join a growing FinTech SaaS organization that processes over $100 billion in payments annually. This company is people-focused, and its CEO ensures that every team member feels appreciated and integral to the company’s success.
Your role:
• Join a close-knit 5-person sub-team within a dynamic 28-person engineering group, becoming a critical senior member to help steer the company’s infrastructure.
• Get hands-on with hardware, from racking servers to wiring up complex systems, while also tackling DevOps tasks like improving production challenges, conducting root cause analysis, and managing enterprise-level SANs and load balancing.
• Travel quarterly to one of nine US data centers, with opportunities to visit Europe if international travel excites you.
• Thrive in an On-Prem Linux environment, bringing your experience with configuration tools like Puppet and Ansible, and scripting in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Work independently in a remote setting while contributing to a team that values problem-solving instincts and critical thinking.
What you'll need:
• Proven experience in DevOps, Linux, and Data Center environments
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go
• Hands-on experience with SANs, load balancing, and deep infrastructure tasks
• A natural problem-solving instinct and the ability to work independently in a remote environment
